East Troy Manor has a very rich and unique history. Our purpose is, and always has been, helping our elders stay well and connected to their community.
Formerly Kiwanis Manor, Inc., it was the only health care facility in the world sponsored by a Kiwanis Club. In 1973, the Kiwanis Club of Greater East Troy was founded and established itself as a service club that wanted to make a difference in the community. By 1977 they had accomplished many great things including the opening of Kiwanis Manor.
East Troy Manor takes pride in its involvement in the community with various outings, organized meetings in our home, intergenerational programs, and a strong volunteer program.
In 2003, we briefly expanded our services by converting eight of our skilled nursing beds to a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) located on the West side of our facility. However, we have since converted back to being a 100% skilled nursing facility.
